   At Access Video we us the Adreneline system. AVID's Adrenaline system is the industry-leading Media Composer film and video editing solution.

  The features of our AVID editing system include: Real-time Multi-cam switching, Motion Tracking, Stabilization & slow-motion effects. Our built-in color correction tools are based on the award-winning Avid Symphony finishing technology, where one click can automatically analyze and color correct an entire sequence. The Pan & Zoom effect creates video from high-res stills. And this system has all the creative tools like multi-format editing support that have made AVID Adreneline Media Composer the best editor on the planet.

  The Avid Adrenaline has hardware that can offer accelerated effects processing with real-time 10-bit SDI and 96 kHz audio input/output, as well as component, S-Video, composite and DV with real-time analog-to-DV and DV-to-analog conversion. We have 288 gigabytes of storage connected to our Mac G5 with Dual 20” monitors.

In addition to the basic editing service we offer, we also can design your show graphics, provide a scriptwriter or a storyboard artist, search for the right shot or music for your program and we can log your source tapes to prepare for editing. These additional services are charged by the hour

  In order to save money, you can capture or digitize your own footage without an operator and then work with an AVID operator to add the finishing touches such as music, voice over, transitions, and special effects. Also, while in the Avid, you can improve your video with color correction and sweeten your audio to develop a high quality project.

  In traditional editing, there was the "off-line" rough edit. While it was more cost effective than Broadcast, this process was usually time consuming. After rough editing, when all the artistic decisions were made, a final on-line edit was done.

  This next step was done using a much more costly Broadcast system. After the final editing was completed, making changes became very difficult and costly. There was always something that needed to be changed!

  Now, with non-linear editing, making changes is as easy as changing a paragraph on a word processor! Using non-destructive editing, the original version remains unchanged. This allows for more creativity and a streamlined work flow. AVID is clearly the best digital editing system. AVID lets you work smarter, not harder!

Editing Tips: Log your source tapes using timecode or hours, minutes, and seconds, to create an edit decision list. Plan all your shots on paper before coming in to edit. Create an outline and list all titles, music, and voiceover details. Know what you want it to look like.

  TERMS & CONDITIONS: All editing fees and services are charged by the hour, in quarter hour increments. The balance is due at the end of each edit session. All rates are subject to change. There is a $20 charge for returned checks. Sales tax applies to all tape stock, duplication and replication.
